How much is shipping and are duties and taxes included?

Shipping for pledge tier items only is included in U.S. orders. International backers will be charged for pledge tier shipping in Kickstarter. If you select any add-ons in addition to your base pledge tier, you will be charged additional shipping in Backerkit after the campaign has ended. Please be aware that customs fees and taxes vary from place to place and are not included with your payment for shipping. We are not able to offer DDP options for this campaign. Please use a taxes & duties calculator to estimate additional fees that you may be asked to pay when your package arrives in your country. We do not process refunds for pledges that are returned due to unpaid customs fees.

What if I want to cancel my pledge?

Please request your refund within 30 days of the original payment. After this window, we will not be processing any refunds including partial refunds.

Can I include other items from prismavisions.com with my rewards to save on shipping?

We understand that shipping, especially outside the U.S., is costly and we empathize with backers who wish to include items outside of this campaign with their order. However, managing a kickstarter campaign and pre-order store can get really complicated and we are a small team with a lot on our plate. To minimize shipping delays, customer support delays and errors, we will not be able to ship Kickstarter rewards together with prismavisions.com orders. Add-ons will be available after the campaign ends but only for Cerulean Sequence-related items.

How long do I have after the campaign ends to fix my credit card information?

We will be using Backerkit for this campaign which allows failed pledges to be paid for after the end of the original Kickstarter campaign. We will allow late backers to update their payment information up to 90 days after fulfillment of rewards has begun. After this period, we cannot guarantee we will have enough inventory to fulfill your rewards.

What if my item(s) arrive damaged?

If you received damaged items please email photos to the team at [email protected] right away. We will need photos showing the damage of the item(s) as well as the exterior box they were shipped in. Please save the damaged item and exterior packaging until a claim has been submitted by our team and we can confirm no further information is required. If the damage is to individual cards, please email us photos of each damaged card and we will send you replacements.

In most cases, we should be able to ship you a replacement as long as we still have inventory and your address is based in the U.S. For international customers, our resolution will depend on a case-by-case basis.

All damages must be reported to us within 14 days of receiving your package.

If there is a widespread defect such as a typo or other error due to manufacturing, we unfortunately won’t be able to offer a replacement or refund. As with any Kickstarter, backing our campaigns offers you a first look at our newest creations at a lower price point. This can come with some risk. While we do our best to create all of our items with the utmost quality and perfection, there are some factors and outcomes we cannot control. We ask that those who back this campaign do so with this in mind.

Will I be able to add additional items after the campaign ends?

Yes, we will be using Backerkit for this campaign. Backerkit allows backers to purchase add-on items after the campaign has ended. Most items from the campaign should be available to add-on to your pledge. Shipping for add-ons is not included with your pledge tier and will be billed accordingly. If you missed the campaign you will be able to purchase campaign items through the Backerkit Pre-order store which will be linked to the Kickstarter page once the campaign ends.

Will you be using Backerkit for this campaign?

Yes, we will be using Backerkit for this campaign to manage peldges. You will be sent a survey sometime after the campaign ends to confirm your shipping details, purchase any additional items, add-on shipping fees, and even pay for previously failed pledges.

Where will you be shipping from and what couriers will be used?

We will be shipping all pledges from Los Angeles, CA. All U.S.-based orders will be shipped via USPS Ground Advantage. We will be using a combination of USPS International First Class, USPS International Priority (if over the First Class weight limit) and DHL to ship to international backers.

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
